World Wide TV and Movie Hits/ Broadway Hit Parade

More and more of the greatest tunes being composed today are being written for the screen - and not just the big screen of the cinema, the small TV screen has inspired some truly wonderful tunes too. The film industry is one of the biggest employers of musical talent of all descriptions, and it gives composers the opportunity to express gifts of melody on a grand scale. No other idiom could provide such scope for composers and arrangers who enthusiastically welcome the use of large-scale orchestras which demand rich and colourful arrangements.
